ADBA hosted a booth at the City’s first Fourth of Independence Day parade on July 2. Before-and-after photos of what downtown Arcadia could look like were displayed, and almost 100 people completed the short survey of downtown needs and opportunities. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to visit the booth!
The next ADBA meeting will be at a new location on June 28 at 5:30 p.m.: the Arcadia Board of Realtors Office, 601 S. First Avenue. We hope to see you there!
Arroyo Magazine named Downtown Arcadia its number one “Hot ‘Hood” in its June 2011 issue. The article by Brigham Yen highlights five Arroyoland neighborhoods that will gain momentum as the Metro Gold Line matures.
Although we are presenting preliminary survey results (click here to view the presentation) at tonight’s general meeting at 5:30 p.m., it’s not too late to give your input on the needs of Downtown Arcadia. We’ll include any additional responses in the feasibility study, to be presented at June’s general meeting.

The first community parade is coming to Downtown Arcadia as part of the first annual Arcadia’s Best Patriotic Festival from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 2.
The Arcadia Downtown Business Association is a group of stakeholders and business owners who are leading the downtown revitalization effort in Arcadia, California.
