Strike up the bands and look to the skies — Downtown Arcadia’s Patriotic Festival is upon us. Food. Fun. Music. And fireworks!
Here’s everything you need to know about the Patriotic Festival and Fireworks Display.
Saturday, June 29
5 p.m.-9:30 p.m.
First Avenue in Downtown Arcadia will be closed starting at noon from Huntington Drive to Diamond Street.
Parking
- Public parking is available on Wheeler Avenue and at the County Park on Santa Anita Avenue.
- Accessible parking is available at CitiBank at 100 South First Ave. (access lot from the alley off Second Street).
Schedule
- Noon: Road closure begins (First Avenue from Huntington Drive to Diamond Street).
- 5 p.m.: Event opens: Enjoy music, food trucks, free activities for kids and lots of patriotic and summer-themed fun.
- 5:30: Boy Scouts flag ceremony and opening remarks at First Avenue Middle School.
- 5:45: First Avenue Middle School Rock Band performs.
- 8:45: Remarks and Big Give Away at First Avenue Middle School.
- 9: “Star Spangled Banner” and fireworks at First Avenue Middle School.
The First Avenue Middle School Stage and the Neighborhood Music School Stage will both feature local talent throughout the event. Enjoy!
